Reject the absolutes
Perhaps you remember a time when someone said something about you that made you feel hopeless but has never left your mind. It is funny (and yet not funny) how a few spoken words can stick, and direct many of your future choices.

Find your audience
Going on my trike and also in the wheelchair has taught me a precious lesson. Now, all those people that we look beyond or above have become the eyes that I meet. There is an invisible, often unseen group of people that I now see and share smiles with. I can’t believe it’s taken this…

You have your own story to tell.
Have you ever realised that every single person you encounter is a walking story? Beyond the hellos and the blank faces there is a whole life, a wealth of experience- some to be forgotten but others to be learned from.

Find one good thing.
Today is a meh day, just like the picture. I’m dosed with the cold and have spent all morning trying to find an ounce of positivity to give me something to write about.

True colours
Yesterday my daughter was looking for wrapping paper to back some of her school books in. She found an old sheet of Peppa Pig. But she did a funny thing; she turned the paper round so the white back of it was on the outside. I held my tongue and realised yet again it’s better…
