This is possibly easy to say when the season is right and the weather is gentle, but I have been enjoying the sound of the wind shaking the leaves around my house. It reminds me that I am not alone, that there are many things in life that are greater than me.

To grow. My daughter had to write a haiku last week and she picked the daisies she saw that were struggling against the nettles pushing against them. Her words contained the title of my post for today.

Gratitude. When was the last time we were truly thankful for something or someone? It is easy to let troubles fill up our lives so there is no room, no thought of all we have been given. All that we have right now.

It’s easy to forget, when life is tough or just very busy, that change is possible. I have heard many times the words ‘I’m done’ or ‘I have nothing else to give’. I think most of us can’t imagine that something new or different could ever be within our reach

For the world to change. It might, but that doesn’t guarantee you will be any happier.

It is easy to think that in a world of visible achievement, you are looking on with no idea of what on earth you can contribute.

I’ve been pondering over all the things we have at our disposal that can turn our bad days into good ones.
