What does that mean in non-cowboy terms?  In this age of dream-catching, maybe it’s better to say ‘reach for the stars’…

In any case, what I mean is that I want to take a risk, put myself out there and see if I can make one of my dreams a reality.  That dream is to become a writer.  Of course, I’ve been a writer in many senses over the years, but now, I want to do it on my own terms.  I don’t know what that means yet, but I’m going to start figuring it out.

I know that with goal-setting, the trick is to break it down.  So here’s step number one:  admitting I want something that I have little faith I can achieve.  And step two: I’m going to start on my tentative journey by writing a blog every week.
