So you’ve probably seen two titles listed on my home page that are ‘pending’. I looked at them both today, and felt so depressed reading them I’ve realised something. The reason I write is to find and bring light into a mainly dark world. It may be that that aim will never get me published, but that’s a price I am willing to pay. If I bring happiness to twenty readers and no misery to a thousand then it’s worth it.

I watched a movie the other week and was riding along the reassuring romantic comedy wave when BAM! the female lead was hit by a lorry. As the camera circled round her mangled body I made my decision: in a planet of wars, abuse, sickness, poverty and deceit I choose goodness.
