I heard Macron saying the words above and I thought that they could serve as a resolution for anyone daunted by the next year. Wanting to make it significant or simply to survive it with your head held high?

It can be painful looking back at hard times from the last year, but think again and remember the times where you were carried by people around you, or by God Himself.

Whatever is behind you or lies ahead, believe strength meets any fragility and you will find hope standing beside you.

So you are not an impressive French cathedral but you are amazing in your own way. Step out strong and remember that.
