Two days ago, things started to shift. I listened to men working hard on our driveway. Five lorries were parked up and things were happening. Perhaps not as immediately as I wanted, but now was the time. Things were happening. And I liked it!

Do you feel your life is at a standstill or even moving backwards? The news tells us everything is getting worse. Maybe your future looks like that too. Stem the tide of your thoughts and consider this: God can and will do a new thing in your life if you let Him. Can you? Can I? I think now more than ever is the time for good news. Don’t be afraid to tell people you’re expecting good events. 

In March this year, my family are anticipating the birth of our nephew’s child. Next month we are getting a new kitchen and bathroom. The sun shone today and will shine again tomorrow. Good things are tumbling out of heaven to bless you. God has promised that!

So turn away from fear for your tomorrows, and lift up your hands to take all the good things you will be given if you keep your heart open. Somehow expecting joy creates it. Give it a try.
