It never ceases to amaze me how people I had forgotten about somehow appear in my awareness again.

I believe that God puts people in your life when you really need them. I could count on both hands twice over the people who have helped me over the years.

Recently I have discovered that I really want to be one of those helpers. Beyond the posts I put up every Monday. Frustratingly, I see that I need folk to help me help other people. It’s like that quote from Jerry Maguire, “help me help you!”

So I’m asking you if you have something you can use to improve somebody else’s life? It can be tiny, or seemingly unremarkable. Remember that something that seems insignificant to you might mean a whole lot to somebody else. Think about the ripples made when a little pebble is thrown into water.

I’m thinking hard about what I can give. Can you? Are you able to believe that you have something to offer that might impact somebody else?

Just think, somebody might be remembering with gratitude the thing you did for them. You might never hear about how you helped them. I’m here to tell you that no good deed is forgotten. It is treasured.
