My other half was in Boston last week. In my exhaustion I didn’t recognise the place at the beginning in his photo, but when I was told the tagline I knew straightway. I remembered I used to come home every lunchtime and get a boost from watching half an hour of Cheers before I went back to work. Beyond all that, the idea that I was known, seen and prayed for helped me through many tough days. So not like Cheers, but better

One thing that had been going round in my mind recently is those words said by Jesus: ‘in my Father’s house there are many mansions.’* So don’t ever think there wouldn’t be room for you. Heaven is like the Tardis in Dr Who; there is infinite space and everyone knows your name. Everything is because you have a Father who loves you and has carved your name on His hands.

I just wanted to use this space to remind you that you are known and infinitely loved.
